DE: Der dritte Teil unserer Werbetour mit dem Independence Cruiser 39 hat auf Grund der Corona-Situation leider verspätet am 25.08.2020 in Istanbul begonnen. Ziel war es, zurück durch das Marmarameer und dann entlang der Türkischen Küste möglichst viele schöne Buchten, Häfen und Marinas anzulaufen. Gleichzeitig sollte nach einer schönen und geeigneten Marina Ausschau gehalten werden.
Einige Stationen unterwegs waren:
Esenköy nicht weit von Istanbul, Insel Marmara, Canakkale, der sehr schöne Hafen der Insel Bozcada, dann Ayvalik, Bucht von Bademl. Von dort nach Foca, vorbei an Cesme nach Alacati.
Von hier nach Sigacik, die ursprünglich für den Winter angedachte Marina. Glücklicherweise sind wir nach ein paar Tagen weitergefahren. Die Marina wurde im Oktober durch ein Erdbeben bzw. den darauf folgenden Tsunami erheblich zerstört. Unsere Route führte uns als nächstes nach Kusadasi und anschließend zur D-Marina Didim. Ursprünglich hatten wir diese supermoderne große Marina nicht in die engere Wahl genommen aber es hat uns dann außerordentlich gut gefallen. Trotzdem sollte es ja noch ein gutes Stück weitergehen. Also von hier bis in den Golf von Gökova und dort in einigen Buchten Station gemacht. Außerdem in der Marina Ören übernachtet die aber aus allen Nähten geplatzt ist.
Auf dem Rückweg noch in der Bucht von Bitez in der Nähe von Bodrum einige Tage vor Anker gelegen.
Dann wieder zurück nach Didim. Dort noch einige Tage den Komfort des Marina Yacht-Clubs mit Pool, Aussicht und gutem Essen genossen bis der IC 39 an Land gehievt und aufgebockt wurde.
Nächstes Jahr geht es weiter bis Antalya und je nach Situation, nach Griechenland oder wieder zurück nach Didim.
ENG: The third part of our promotion tour with the Independence Cruiser 39 has started substantially delayed due to the Corona-situation on the 25.08.2020. Our aim was to travel back through the Marmara sea and than south along the coast to many nice bays, harbours and marinas. At the same time we wanted to find a nice and suitable marina for the winter.
Some stations were:
Esenköy not far from Istanbul, island of marmara, Canakkale, island of Bozcada with it´s nice harbour, than Ayvalik and the bay of Bademli. From their to Foca, along Cesme to Alacati. Further to Sigacik which we had in mind as possible marina for the winter. Luckily we continued with the boat after a few days. The Marina was heavily damaged in october after an earthquake and following Tsunami. Our route took us than to Kusadasi and further to the D-Marin Didim. Originall we haven´t shortlisted this supermodern marina but liked it than a lot. Nevertheless the trip should not be finised yet. We headed to the gulf of gökova and stopped in a number of nice bays.
We also stayed over night in the Ören marina which was bursting at the seams.
On the way back we set anchor for a couple of days in the bay of Bitez close to Bodrum.
Than back to Didim.
We enjoyed a few days the comfort of the marina yacht club with pool, nice few and good food until the IC 39 was lifted out of the water and jacked up for the winter.
Next year we will proceed south to Antalya or if the situation allows it tor greece, otherwise back to Didim.
